my friends recommended me this book because i love surreal stories, and this one is filled with it.
I've been meaning to read this for a while.
a self reflection of his circumstances between choosing to go to the military or becoming a poet. it's pretty good ngl.
i love julliete collet because of her color use and dialogue. also i've never seen a bdsm comic like this before, it's super unique.
there are not many copies left from this book anymore unfortunately.
just so awesome. i really love taiyo matsumoto's unique style so much.
the mc is retiring from his comic making job, but he has a hard time leaving because it gave him identity through the course of his life. it's a pretty interesting book to see an artists selfreflection throught the ever changing manga world.
i both love the movie and the manga. the world is so well put together.
the best manga i've ever read so far tbh. i really love the 4 panel shorts and the different worlds are shuffled throughout the manga it's genius.
i discovered it in france only to be translated in french T^T. you can visit the english version link if you click again.
wonderful behind the scenes concept art/animation frames from the movie tekkonkinkreet by Masaaki Yuasa.
it's incredibly inspiring to see how Nick Borelli makes these figurines.
handy for any filmmaker to learn how to visually tell stories with composition techniques
i made this bookshelf to give myself more motivation to read, since i don't read much (and don't have many finished books)
i've been a bit embarassed about it for a while because i haven't read many books since the start of highschool which is problematic tbh.
i've been dealing with this since i was a kid. i was so obsessed with drawing that I didn't feel like reading, which led to reading difficulties later in life.
reading comics was easier though, i still love reading them.
but now i'm trying to make it a new hobby to read more different books because obviously i want my brain to become smarter.
